I’ve tried everything I possibly could to soft reset to no avail, and decided to hard usb vid 0a5c&pid 5800 to factory. My next attempt will be on an XP machine if I can dig one up. Ok, I installed the driver package, rebooted, plugged in the Xoom. Tried everything By punkzilla2k in forum Non U.
I’d love to just get a driver file though, and stop mucking about with MotoHelper. However, I want to be thorough!

I still need to fid to find an XP computer I guess, but it’s vis so frustrating for this to be the ‘hard part’ of the process. I can run adb usb vid 0a5c&pid 5800 and see nothing in my device list. I will try them all again on this new PC and see if I can get usb vid 0a5c&pid 5800 recognized, but so far none of those options to get Windows to recognize my Xoom have worked hence why I want to try on XP Thanks!
